John started his career in 1968 working as a Junior Steel Detailer for Canron Ltd in Canada before joining Dowco Consultants Ltd as a Senior Detailer in 1986.  Since then he has worked his way through the company as both Production Manager and Office Manager on his way to current position as Sales Manager for Dowco Consultants Ltd. 

John has been involved as an early adopter of technology in the Steel Detailing industry, first working with working on a Holguin, Ceads-Cadd platform in his early days with Dowco. Since then John has witnessed and been involved in both the technological revolution that has taken over our industry in the last 20 years and every imaginable sized and type of job.  It is with great anticipation and excitement John is now eagerly moving into the new realm of BIM.  John’s understanding of client needs, the construction process, workflows and technology makes him a valuable resource for out clients participating in BIM.
