Operations Corner
Dowco continues to expand to accommodate our increasing workload. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome aboard our new drawing office team members, Abhijit, Achinta, Al, Bholanath, Charlie, Hongpo, Horacio, Jayabrata, Kamal, Radhaballav, Rathin, Salil, Sanjay, Sanjoy, Sinchan, Soumen, Tarun and Ujjal. The bulk of our new recruits are based in the DowcoMax office located in Kolkata, India. This team now comprises more than 40 people. January, 2007 will also see our Toronto office add 50% more floor space to allow their team to expand. I would like to thank every team member for a job well done this year. We are heading into 2007 with a very healthy workload, with some projects scheduled to run into 2008. Major projects include the Vancouver Convention Center Expansion, the new Goldman Sachs HQ in New York, Sandow Steam Electric Station, TXU Standard Plant Project in Texas, the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Tulsa Events Center, Sprint Arena, John Jay College, the new FedEx Hanger in Memphis and the Philadelphia Children’s Hospital.
