Dowco Art Corner

We are pleased to announce that Dowco’s artist Thomas Cetnarowski has been accepted as a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FAC).   His portfolio of artwork was accepted by the jurors, elevating his status to “Active Member.”

“I was really happy to hear the news,” says Thomas.  “This affords me a great opportunity to showcase my artwork during the many FAC exhibitions.  Actually it didn’t take too long before I sent my first submission.  The exhibition, titled “Small, Smaller, Smallest”, took place in November in Federation Gallery on Granville Island.  One of my oil pastels was accepted and later sold during the show. “

Below you can find the latest addition to the artist’s “Colony Park Impressions” oil paintings series.  Recent snowfall provided Thomas with a rare chance to create several new winter landscapes. This one is titled “Snowy Riverbanks”.
