CISC/SDIBC The Connection Design Correspondence Course is now endorsed by both the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) and the Steel Detailing Institute of B.C. (SDIBC). The fee is $320.00 plus GST for CISC/SDIBC members, and $385.00 plus GST for non-members. The course on the selection and design of connections for structural steel is monitored by Mr. W.G. (Bill) Baird, P.Eng. of Baird & Associates Ltd. Mr. Baird is a leading authority on connection design for structural steel.
