There are some signs that the market for steel detailing may be improving. Over the past few recession years, Dowco has managed to maintain staff with minimal changes. We are now looking at ways to improve our capacity, in preparation for a growing market.

To this end, Dowco’s Mississauga operation has merged with Total Structural Detailing (TSD) in Toronto. This merger will increase our Toronto capacity to thirty-two (32) staff and we are pleased to welcome Mr. Eric Lee with his expertise and staff to our organization. We also have the ability to increase our office staff by 40% without the need for additional office space. Our objective is to grow staff to 140 by the end of 2005, which still will not maximize all our current office space.

The future looks bright but growth brings additional challenges, and for the staff this means striving to maintain productivity and minimize project errors, and working hard in teams to satisfy our clients’ needs.
