Tekla Structures: Tekla Structures versus Tekla Xsteel Tekla Xsteel has evolved, and is now part of an integrated solution! Tekla Structures provides the entire structural design sector with an innovative way of information management and real-time collaboration. At the same time, steel detailing functionality has been upgraded - making the steel detailing process more effective than ever.
How is this new software related to Tekla Xsteel? Tekla Structures, Steel Detailing is actually the same software as Tekla Xsteel. Only now it is included within the Tekla Structures package. The biggest differences are in the name and the revolutionary new functionality introduced through the annual main releases. Tekla Structures also opens up new possibilities for existing users to expand their business within the same steel detailing technology.
Why the product name change? The new name reflects the new nature of the software. Tekla Structures is the first completely integrated tool for structural design from conceptual design to detailing and fabrication. Tekla Structures provides individual solutions for all phases of the structural design process.
Is the product name the only change? Tekla Structures is the first completely integrated 3D solution for structural design. It has the power to create and manage all types of structures made from steel, concrete or any other material. Unique modeling tools such as automated and intelligent parametric adjustments have been added to the software to provide you with the ability to design and create an intelligent building model of any size or complexity.

Tekla Structures CNC Additional Drivers Prerequisite Tekla Structures Steel Detailing module. The Tekla Structures CNC Post Processor modules consist of manufacture / machine specific formats for the download of numeric control data directly from Tekla Structures. This module is intended for fabricators.
Features: The Tekla Structures standard DSTV format Post Processor is included free of charge with the purchase of Tekla Structures Steel Detailing module. CNC Post Processor allows the user to transfer data directly from Tekla Structures model to a CNC machine that is not compatible with the standard DSTV format.

Tekla Structures Plate Nesting Prerequisite Tekla Structures Steel Detailing module. Tekla Structures Plate Nesting is a module for the optimal use of stock sheet materials. This module is intended for fabricators. Tekla Structures Plate Nesting provides accurate data for material estimation, purchasing and shop floor cutting of sheet material.
