Dowco Construction is currently building another home using ICF – ECO Block foundation. This project has incorporated some unique features such as a 4 inch steel column supporting an exposed paralam beam in the kitchen and an exposed paralam beam in the bedroom. This particular house has several challenging features including 20 foot high walls in the living & dining rooms. It will also have a 10’ x 8’ overhead door leading out to the sundeck for those sunny days in summer. The exterior will consist of 3different materials for the exterior wall cladding ( galvalume corrugated metal, t&g cedar siding and stucco ).

Dowco is currently working with several clients who have chosen to build with ICF as the technology seems to have established itself as a valuable alternative to wood frame construction.
