CISC Regional Committee Meeting

Local BC CISC Regional members met Wednesday January 15th at the Vancouver Arbutus Club to discuss a number of issues including the status of the local steel construction industry and also to nominate Regional Representatives to the National Board.  Jim McLaghan,  Vice President, Canron, and Hugh Dobbie Sr, President, Dowco Consultants Ltd were both nominated to the Board to represent BC.

Bob Thornton of Custom Plate & Profiles Ltd. was elected Chairman of the B.C. Regional Committee, and Ewen Dobbie of Dowco was elected Vice Chairman.

The next B.C. Regional Committee Meeting will be held May 10, 2006 at Northview Golf & Country Club.
