head_scottThe first quarter of 2010 continued to present challenges for all of us involved in the construction industry. While there are definite signs of improvement, the pace of the recovery in our industry has been painfully slow. Dowco continues to receive our share of project awards, but could certainly handle much more work than is currently available.

On the upside, we continue to improve our efficiencies internally and are fully committed to work with our clients to ensure that we all achieve the best results we possibly can from each and every project that we are awarded.  The old adage "Necessity is the Mother of Invention" has never been more true than it is right now!  Dowco is intently focused on examining and improving our internal procedures and processes which will not only help us be more competitive in the near term, but also position us well for the future.

We wish all of our industry colleagues the best during this difficult time and continue to believe that everything will work out well in the end.
