ISO is derived from the Greek word isos, meaning equal. ISO stands for the "International Organization for Standardization". In November of 1998, Dowco was one of the first, if not the first steel detailing company in the world to become ISO certified. Each year since, we have undergone external audits which confirm we are following the ISO guidelines and are currently registered to ISO 9000, 2001;2008. This certification signifies a global benchmark in customer satisfaction and product quality.

We have 3 internal auditors in our offices who are responsible for conducting internal audits of the complete management and quality system in Dowco as well as our product handling and records system. In total, we conduct close to 30 internal audits every year, throughout all our offices, ensuring we are operating within our ISO management and procedure guidelines. Continual improvement and customer satisfaction...that's what it's all about.
