Project Report : Ontario Office

It's hard to believe that it is the Holiday Season once again - time flies when you're trying to keep busy.   The Ontario office has remained relatively busy throughout these tough times, thanks to our hard working staff and good relationships with old and new customers. Our work continues on the following projects;

RIM Building C&D - ACL Steel Ltd. – ACL Steel is located in southern Ontario and have given us an opportunity to work with them on a couple of exciting projects. The (2) structures will be completed by early February 2010 and we are all hopeful this will be a lasting relationship with a great group of individuals at ACL.  Gord Lamb and Tino Dos Santos are handling this project which has a challenging schedule.

National Enrichment Facility – Hirschfeld Steel Group – We have been working with Hirschfeld on a number of projects within this facility over the past year and a half and this most recent phase it close to completion. These projects are always exciting as we have come to understand their requirements and with a team like Toby, Shaun and Zeb at Hirschfeld,  we are confident that they are always completed with positive results. Many thanks to Gord and Bernard for their continued hard work on these projects.

Antenna – World Trade Center – DCM Erectors – Frank's group has kept this project moving along. From the start this was known to be a challenging long term project. The original scope of the contract is near completion with the understanding that it will not be complete at that point.  Many trades have different requirements on the Antenna that will no doubt challenge us for a while longer.

Area 3 & 6 – World Trade Center – DCM Erectors – This project it moving along at a good pace. Orly's team has completed the detailing in Area 3 and is just processing approvals and working on design changes.  Area 6 is approx. 70% complete with Eva Pohoriljakova's crew working through this on schedule. These large projects have an excitement of their own and when we are working with the great group of professionals at DCM, it makes it all the more exciting.
