We have been awarded the 6,000 Ton Swedish /Hammes Issaquah Hospital from B & B Fabricators. This Project is broken down into 5 different areas. Wojtek Jablkowski's crew has already completed the model and started creating Anchor and Embed Layouts. This is our first contract with B & B Fabricators and we are looking forward to working with Brian Bergeson.

Canron Western Erectors has awarded us with 6 Port Mann Overpass approaches. Don Adair’s crew is well underway detailing and hopes to have the first couple of Overpasses completed by the end of the year.

We are now working on all the Balcony Railings for the Solaris Project in Vail, Colorado for Zimmerman Metals. This should be completed by early in January 2010.

Tony Han's crew has finally been able to start on the Fast Track work for Tiers 3 to 6 on the 8,000 T RDK8 Project for Alstom Power System.

It also looks like the Residual Work on the Maritza Project has finally been completed. I would like to personally thank each of our staff for their amazing effort and hard work over the past several months. I would also like to express my gratitude to the Alstom Crew especially Manfred Gebel, Lars Lusebrink, Thomas Hirsch, and Markus Schott for their part in creating an excellent working relationship between our two companies. This was an incredibly difficult project that required exceptional people. The dedication and commitment shown by everyone is sincerely appreciated.

At the CISC 2009 B.C. Steel Design Award Ceremony held on November 19th in Vancouver, Dowco Consultants Ltd was proud to be included in the team which received the "Krentz Award" in recognition of our part in the outstanding steel structure - The Vancouver Convention Centre. The Krentz Award is for special recognition of an extraordinary design solution in the field of Steel Construction that demonstrates unique application, successful collaboration and sustainable principles for the benefit of society, the industry and associated professions.
