Dowco Sponsorship: Kayaking

Kristin Bauder (right) and Maggie Henderson teamed up successfully to capture three silver medals at the Canadian Canoe and Kayak Championships held in Ottawa, August 22-25. The girls raced hard to finish for the silver medals in the Juvenile K-2 200 metre race, the K-2 500 metre race and the K-2 1000 metre race, a race that they had not previously competed in. The regatta took place along the famous Rideau Canal and was attended by hundreds of athletes across the country, including world champion Adam Van Koeverden. The girls are looking forward to some time off before resuming their rigorous training program at the end of September.
