NASCC - The Meeting Place

Each year Dowco participates in the American Institute of Steel Construction’s (AISC’s) annual North American Steel Construction Conference (NASCC). This year New Orleans played host to over 3,000 steel construction professionals in April during the 2007 North American Steel Construction Conference. As in previous years, the steel conference featured presentations from top industry leaders, more than sixty technical sessions, short course educational programs, and an extensive trade show exhibit.

In addition to attending the myriad of technical sessions, Dowco has always taken great pleasure in participating in the trade show exhibit, as this is the ideal time to meet and mingle with clients and customers alike. In fact, our 20’ x 20’ island booth was designed specifically to be a meeting place for clients, with couches and chairs and tables provided. Many of our clients and customers referred to the Dowco booth as the ‘meeting place’ and often returned to our booth to rest their weary feet and have a further chat.

Our thanks to all the Dowco staff who were in attendance and also to the many customers and clients who stopped by the Dowco booth. Look for the Dowco meeting place at next year’s NASCC in Nashville, Tennessee.
