We continue to enjoy a healthy backlog of work. Thanks to our relationship with Tekla and the able closing skills of our VP Wayne Morrison, we now have projects in the U.K., Europe, Asia and North America. Our clients range from Owners, Contractors, Engineers to Fabricators and Erectors, and we are providing a wider range of services to these diverse clients. We now offer Pre-Construction Services, Building Information Models (BIM), Connection Design, Shop Detail Drawings and all necessary management lists, as well as CNC information.

Dowco is pleased to announce that, in an effort to provide a more complete package to the steel industry, we have acquired FabTrol Systems Inc., whose main office is located in Eugene, Oregon and its subsidiary, FabTrol Systems UK Ltd., in Shipley, Yorkshire, UK. Their combined offices employ over forty employees. FabTrol Systems Inc. (FSI) is the leading provider of estimating, production control, and material requirements planning (MRP) software for the steel fabrication industry, and will make a perfect fit with Tekla Structures.

FSI's business strategy is to make steel fabrication companies more profitable and productive through the use of FabTrol software and services that are tailored to the unique requirements of the steel fabrication market, with particular emphasis on the construction segments.

With FabTrol MRP, Tekla Structures and Dowco’s superior detailing services, we can offer clients a complete package to meet their fabrication and erection needs. We will be marketing these services worldwide. As we grow, we will be looking for highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team in all of our offices.
