DISA (Schuff Steel)

This 5 buildings project was awarded to Dowco in May 2008 and was originally scheduled to end in September 2008.  After being hit by never ending revisions, we are about to finish the last building.  Our projected finish date is now February 27, 2008.
This was our first Schuff Steel job, our first contact with Schuff detailing standards and we also extracted ABMs the Schuff way for first time. Thanks to Simon Durkin (Burnaby office) for guiding us through the steps of extracting Fabtrol reports.  Without his help, this would not have been possible.

Sacramento Airport

The Sacramento Airport project is actually two projects, a Landside project and an Airside project.   The Airside portion of the airport was awarded to us in April 2008 by Schuff Steel.  This 4450 tons job is a quite challenging project with its waved shaped roof made of rolled built-up girders 80 feet in length.  At time of writing this text, we are awaiting a revised set of drawings.
