Dowco Sponsorship: Hayden hot in Brazil (Swimming)

Some of you may recall Dowco's sponsorship a few years ago of local swimmer Brent Hayden, a neighbour and friend of our staff member Patrick Salitra.

Brent won the gold medal in the men's 200-metre freestyle in Belo Horizonte, Brazil at the World Cup in February. (It was Brent's second gold in two days, as he also won the 100 freestyle). His winning time was 1 minute, 44.85 seconds beating favourite South African star Ryke Neethline's time of 1:44.91.

We have followed Brent's progress with interest over the years and feel very gratified this young man has made such great strides towards achieving his goals.
