Tekla Structures 13 is here!

Hundreds of Tekla Structures users have downloaded Tekla Structures 13 Release Candidate, and there are dozens of projects completed with it! The final version of the software is available and ready to download at Tekla extranet. To follow users' wishes, Tekla have concentrated on improving the existing functionality in Tekla Structures software. The drawings, for example, now look better than ever, and the drawing list has been enhanced with efficient filtering.

Tekla Structures 13 can be downloaded at http://extranet.tekla.com/login.asp. Sign in or register if you have not yet used Tekla extranet. The installation includes a What's New summary as part of the online help, a new Windows-style Keyboard Shortcuts list, as well as a possibility to participate in the Automatic User Feedback Program that helps Tekla develop the software further.

Interoperability

Tekla Structures effectively integrates into any best-of-breed software through Tekla Open API, while maintaining the highest levels of data integrity and accuracy. Such collaborative workflows are the key to minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency, resulting in high profitability and on-time project completion. Tekla Open API is based on Microsoft ® .Net connection software, enabling a state-of-the-art interface for collaboration between software systems in the building industry.

Open platform

Tekla Structures platform links with various systems through the standard and proprietary Microsoft® .NET connection software. Examples of standard formats supported by Tekla Structures are IFC, CIS/2, SDNF and DSTV. Examples of proprietary formats supported in Tekla structures are DWG*, DXF and DGN.

The open platform enables building a truly interoperable environment by integrating Tekla Structures with several other software products.
