Project Report - Burnaby

The Vancouver Convention Centre for Canron is finally being wrapped up by the end of the year. The Eastern Portion of the Convention Centre and over 50% of the Western Portion has been erected. Congratulations to all who worked on this Project over the last 2 ½ years.
The 40,000 ton Goldman Sachs Headquarters in New York City for DCM Erectors is also coming to a close. Our Toronto office is in the process of releasing the final few drawings for Shop Issue.
Tony Han is leading his team in detailing Areas 3 and 6 of the 45,000 Ton Freedom Tower for DCM Erectors. Connections are scheduled to be released to us by the first of December.
The 24,000 Ton Echelon Expo Center in Las Vegas for Hirschfeld Steel Company has begun. This Project has been split into 3 Main Areas with the first 2 Areas been released for ABMs and detailing.
Steven Chang and his crew have been working on additional Platforms on The 10,000 Ton Sandow 5 Power Plant for the Bechtel Power Corporation. These Platforms are expected to be completed by the end of January ’08.
The last of the drawings for The Panama Museum of Biodiversity have all been Shop Issued. Great job to everyone involved!
The 5400 Ton Solaris Lodge in Vail, Colorado from Zimmerman Metals is in full swing. The model has been updated to the latest IFC drawings, ABMs completed and connecting for the first couple of sequences is well underway.
The Queen Elizabeth Theatre retro fit in Vancouver has been on HOLD for the last couple of months due to budget restraints. We hope to receive the go-ahead to restart our portion early in the New Year.
Alan Ng and his crew have been helping our Toronto office in detailing Area 5 of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for Helmark Steel. This Project is due to be completed in early January ’08.
