Project Report: Whonnock Office

The entire Whonnock office is still working on the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino project located in Las Vegas, which we are doing for Schuff Steel in Phoenix.

This project has continued to present a challenge to everyone involved, from the engineer through the GC to the fabricator, to us and even to the erector.

We have involved the Langley office initially with two of the sequences, but just lately that has been increased to 3 due to the huge number of revisions involved in the work being done by Whonnock. They are a very welcome addition to the team and are doing a sterling job. Keep it up guys, we need you.

As noted in previous reports, this is fairly straightforward construction with a reasonable mix of elements, but what is likely to happen is that a great deal of the revisions may end up being done as fieldwork, which as we all know can be more difficult and tim- consuming than straightforward shop revisions.
