Congratulations to the first winners of the recently-introduced Staff Performance Awards. Holly and Walter from Burnaby and Steve from Toronto each received Individual Performance awards at the company-wide staff meeting on 10th April. Dowco Consultants continues to expand its detailing workforce through expansion and acquisitions. This month I’d like to welcome the staff in the newly-acquired Montreal office, formerly Corpus Steel.  Michael in Langley; Chris, Paul, Rashmikant and Linda in Toronto; and Christine in Whonnock. It’s great to have you on the team!

All Dowco offices are very busy on a wide variety of projects, including mining infrastructure, arenas, high rises, power plants, Frank Gehry work, casinos, educational facilities, hangars and a convention centre. I appreciate that all staff are working incredibly hard and producing excellent results. Thanks to you all!

I’m looking forward to attending the North American Steel Conference from April 18 to 20 with several Dowco colleagues. It will be a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new ones, as well as to learn about developments in the steel industry.
