Rick began his detailing career in June 1973 working for a Vancouver steel fabricator. For the next 12 years Rick honed his skills in various roles from detailing, estimating extras, material purchasing to trouble shooting shop and field problems. This included spending time in the fabrication shop and on site. In 1985 he moved to Dowco Consultants Ltd., where he has spent the last 19 years in various roles, including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Estimating & Sales Manager and currently Drawing Office Manager (Burnaby). Rick brings to Dowco over 30 years of expertise in the steel industry.

As Dowco Consultants Ltd. Drawing Office Manager (Burnaby), Rick is responsible for production, scheduling and manpower.
