Eric Lee was born in Shanghai, China and grew up in Hong Kong. After immigrating to Canada in 1968, his career in the structural detailing industry began at Anthes Steel in 1971. Following a short stint at Dominion Bridge in 1972, he moved to Frankel Steel and remained there until 1987.

1987 saw the birth of Eric’s own business venture, Total Structural Detailing Inc. Over the next 17 years, Eric developed a well respected organization with clients and partners throughout North America. TSD was one of Canada’s largest Xsteel users and a member of the AISC, CISC and NISD. Total Structural Detailing Inc. was purchased by Dowco Consultants in November, 2004.

Eric is responsible for Dowco’s operations in Ontario.
